TV & Movies Alexa Caves briefly competed on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. ABC During the Sept.28 episode of Bachelor in Paradise, one question reverberated throughout Bachelor Nation: who is Alexa? Early on the episode, Ivan admitted to breaking the rules of the show while the cast was staying in a hotel after evacuating from the beach amid a tropical storm — the chaos of which played out in the previous episode.
- During the night, Ivan sneaked out to see a contestant from Peter’s season of The Bachelor : Alexa Caves.
- Fans will remember Alexa as the now-29-year-old esthetician from Chicago who owns her own waxing salon.
- Though she only lasted three weeks on Peter’s season, she made enough of an impression to be invited back over a year later for Paradise.
However, she’s yet to actually show up on the beach, and at this point will likely be better remembered as the woman who inadvertently caused Ivan to go home. As Ivan explained to bartender Wells Adams after being pulled aside and confronted, he was feeling down after being rejected by both Jessenia Cruz and Kendall Long,
He’d gotten wind that Alexa would appear on the season, and found confirmation of that on a producer’s phone. So he made the nightfall trek to Alexa’s hotel room, where he says they spent the evening talking on her balcony and hanging out. Apparently, Ivan came into this season hoping to meet Alexa, and when the opportunity to meet her arose, he seized it, ultimately getting caught in the process.
By the time Ivan self-eliminated from Paradise, Alexa still hadn’t arrived. If social media is any indication, the two may still have some form of a relationship, though it’s unclear to what extent. Both Alexa and Ivan follow one another on Instagram, and Alexa even got in on the episode’s fun, making a joke on her Instagram story about her “appearance” at the ceremony and likening herself to an Amazon Alexa.

Alexa Caves, a 29-year-old esthetician from Chicago, Illinois, was a contestant on The Bachelor season 24 with Peter Weber. She was eliminated in week 3. In her Bachelor bio, Alexa explained how her breakup with her high school sweetheart changed her outlook on love.
- Alexa may look like a total city girl, but she grew up hunting on a farm in Springfield, Illinois with her mom, dad and brother,” her bio read.
- Six years ago, Alexa made a big a change.
- She had just broken up with her high school sweetheart of seven years and was finally ready to live the city life.
Since moving to Chicago, she got her esthetician license and opened her own waxing salon. Alexa is a total free spirit and has a lot of hippie in her.” Her bio continues, “She’s all about love and acceptance, but at the same time, this girl has opinions and isn’t afraid to express them.
Alexa loves amusement parks but hates roller coasters. Alexa decided to move to Chicago during a game of heads or tails. When Alexa isn’t hitting the dance floors at local clubs, she’s at home prepping for her next book club meeting.
After her season on The Bachelor, rumors swirled that Alexa and her cast mate, Jasmine Nguyen, were dating after Jasmine posted a photo with Alexa on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Spoiler: we did find love after all.” She also tagged the post’s location as Chicago, where Alexa lives.
Bachelor in Paradise alum Clay Harbor fueled the rumors by posting photos of Alexa and Jasmine on his Instagram Story with the caption, “my favorite #bachelornation couple” with a heart emoji. Alexa, however, shut down the rumors that she and Jasmine were dating with a post on her Instagram Story. “I wasn’t going to address this because I thought it would just blow over, but I see now I’m getting a lot of questions and the story seems to be getting bigger.
We don’t want to mislead anyone. Jay and I are not dating,” she wrote. “She’s one of my best friends. I’m sorry to get your hopes up! That would be a great story. She really just thought that was a cute caption and didn’t think much of it. Jay is beautiful, kind, down to earth and very straight.
Here’s to our friendship.” Alexa, who has posted about her sexual fluidity in the past, also responded to claims that she and Jasmine were queerbaiting. “Why is what happened with Jasmine and I not queerbaiting? One reason: intention. Jasmine posted 2 pics of us that she liked and used a caption that MANY OTHER PEOPLE from our franchise use all the time.
And it always assumed as friendship love. She thought nothing of it and truthfully, neither did I,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
What happened with Ivan and Alexa on The Bachelor in Paradise?
Ivan’s time in ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ – Ivan was one of the first people to come down the stairs and enter Paradise in season 7. He quickly started a relationship with Jessenia Cruz, and they were considered one of the strongest couples in Bachelor in Paradise,
- However, all that changed when Chris Conran came to the beach.
- Jessenia and Chris immediately made a connection after going on a date, and Ivan was left single.
- Later on, Chris left Jessenia for Alana Milne, but that’s a story for another day.
- Ivan never formed another love connection besides a random makeout with Chelsea Vaughn.
During Week 4, the cast and crew had to evacuate the beach because of an oncoming tropical storm. And that’s when the drama surrounding Ivan started. to meet Alexa Caves at the hotel they were evacuated to, who had not yet come to Bachelor in Paradise,
What did Ivan on Paradise do?
So, what happened at the hotel on Bachelor in Paradise ? – Reality Steve has all the answers in his latest post. “First off, when they had to evacuate because of the hurricane and go to the hotel, it was only for one night. They came back the next day.
However, that night is where Ivan broke protocol. While they were supposed to be sequestered or stay in their own rooms, Ivan snuck over to Alexa Caves room (contestant on Peters season) and hung out with her all night. Producers found out about it and busted them. Alexa was set to come on the show late, but once they got caught, she was never allowed on and Ivan ended up getting kicked off the show.
Not sure how Ivan found Alexa’s room, but that’s what happened. Not the worst thing in the world, but hey, rules are rules and he broke them. You’re a bad boy, Ivan. Go to your room.” Craig Sjodin // Getty Images

Bachelor In Paradise’s Ivan Hall QUITS for ‘breaking rules by hotel room hookup’ with Alexa Caves before she joined show BACHELOR In Paradise’s Ivan Hall QUIT for “breaking the rules” by “hooking up” with Alexa Caves in her hotel room BEFORE she joined the cast.
- After a day of fighting with nemesis Aaron Clancy over their mutual love interest, Chelsea Vaughn, Ivan found himself in even more hot water for his secret fling.
- At the beginning of tonight’s rose ceremony, Ivan stood in front of the group to admit that he had made a “giant mistake.”
- He explained: “Last night I spent time with Alexa at the hotel I thought I was going home and I wanted to meet her.
“The one person I wanted to meet here was Alexa. I went around the system last night to meet Alexa because I wanted to actually see if there was a connection there and I’m sorry to let you down.” Ivan admitted that he spent “at least a few hours” together during their late night rendezvous.
To further explain his motives, he told his friends: “So, paradise has done a number on me. I’ve been in good relationships here but they all failed. “I went around the system last night to meet Alexa because I wanted to actually see if there was a connection there and I’m sorry to let you down. “Love makes you do weird crazy things and I made a mistake.

Are Alexa and Ivan dating?
Ivan Hall and Alexa Caves had a scandalous rendezvous at a BIP hotel after a tropical storm disrupted filming. Are they still together after the show? Ivan Hall of Bachelor in Paradise might be dating Alexa Caves after their paradise hotel scandal, but it appears he may be single. Ivan had a notably complex journey in paradise. He initially paired up with Jessenia Cruz. The couple seemed like equal parts of a humble pie, but Jessenia ended up focusing her attention on Chris Conran.
The BIP romance with Chris ended on a disrespectful note, Ivan then started dating Kendall Long, but Kendall couldn’t let go of lamenting over Joe Amabile. Finally, Ivan made a last ditch effort to court Chelsea Vaughn, angering Aaron Clancy. Keeping in mind Ivan’s turbulent Paradise journey, the hotel scandal with Alexa makes sense.
Alexa originally joined Bachelor Nation on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, However, Alexa, a 21-year-old esthetician from Chicago, never made it onto the beach. She still made a big splash on the show. After finding Alexa’s hotel room number on a producer’s phone Ivan snuck in and spent some time with her.
A producer in the hotel room next to Alexa heard voices late into the night that should have been a red flag she was no longer quarantining alone. Wells Adams, contestant-turned bartender-turned host of Bachelor in Paradise, realized something was wrong. Wells could go full-time as BIP host if fans are lucky, Wells noticed producers huddled up and speaking in hushed tones.
They initially gave him a script for the final rose ceremony when he tried to ask what was going on. Then producers told him they were going rogue. Wells told Us Weekly that he asked, ” ‘What does that mean?’ And they’re like, ‘just go ask Ivan to talk.
- He’s got something to tell you.
- Something happened last night when everyone was back at the,’ And then so then he, like, unloads this entire thing.
- There’s a lot longer conversation,” Wells has noted it was an especially difficult season to step in and host with the hotel scandal being the tip of the iceberg.
Fans initially thought Ivan could be dating The Bachelor’s Heather Martin, Heather joined Bachelor Nation on Colton Underwood’s season. She caught fans’ attention as the girl who’d never kissed anyone. Ivan and Heather were spotted at a party in La Jolla together, but there isn’t any indication the pair are officially together.
- Fans suspected that Alexa was dating Jasmine Nguyen after sharing a sweet Instagram post saying they had found love after all.
- However, after the rumors didn’t die down, Alexa squashed the gossip by clarifying they were just close friends.
- Based on Ivan’s social media presence, there also isn’t any indication that he is dating Alexa.
Ivan appears ostensibly single online. While BIP fans wanted Ivan on the show, time will tell if Ivan will be invited back after the transgressions. On an Instagram Story, he said he looked forward to when he could provide fans more color on what went down with Alexa.
- The pair do still follow each other on Instagram, indicating they are at least on friendly terms.
- It’s important to keep cast members quarantined when not filming, and Ivan broke this rule.
- With the norms of quarantining for long periods on production sets and Ivan’s less-than-positive experience in Paradise, it’s easy to understand how he and Alexa ended up together for the night.
However, Wells and production execs made clear that breaking the rules of Bachelor in Paradise is a major transgression. Whether it is or not is up for debate, but it’s likely Ivan wanted to move on from everything that took place and is happily single for now.

Jesse hosted his first Bachelor franchise show in 2022 with The Bachelor season 26 with Clayton Echard.
During The Bachelor season 5 finale, Jesse gave his Final Rose to Jessica Bowlin, but didn’t propose to her. Jesse and Jessica continued to date, but ended their relationship a few weeks after the finale of their Bachelor season aired. In June 2020, Jesse and his girlfriend, Emely Fardo, married in an intimate wedding in New York City.
Jesse told Us Weekly in November 2021 that he and Emely planned to marry in Provence, France, before the current health crisis cancelled their wedding date. “We had originally planned a wedding in Provence, France, for summer 2020, which was postponed until summer of 2021 due to the pandemic, but we didn’t want to wait any longer,” he said at the time.
So, we had a small, private and intimate ceremony with close friends who lived in New York City.” Jesse graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he played football for the Florida Gators, in 2001 with a bachelor’s of arts degree in political science and a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing.
After graduation, Jesse was drafted by the National Football League to play for the New York Giants. He played with the team for four seasons from 2001 to 2005 as a quarterback. After the New York Giants, Jesse was drafted by the Canadian Football League to play for the Montreal Alouettes.
He played with the team until 2005 when he was signed by the San Francisco 49ers. He’s also guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and made guest appearances on shows like Recipe to Riches and Good Morning America, and hosted the Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship and Holiday Baking Championship. Jesse was announced as The Bachelor season 26 host in September 2021.
- For more than 20 years, The Bachelor has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” he said at the time.
- Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.” The announcement came after Chris Harrison, the former host of Bachelor Nation, confirmed in June 2021 that he had retired as the franchise’s host after 19 years.
“I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “I’m so grateful to Bachelor Nation for all of the memories we’ve made together. While my two-decade journey is wrapping up, the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime.” Deadline reported at the time that Chris received a mid-range, eight-figure settlement as part of exit plan with ABC, the network that airs the Bachelor franchise, and Warner Bros.
Television, the company that produces the Bachelor shows. The magazine also reported that Harrison’s settlement included a nondisclosure agreement. Chris’ decision to retire as Bachelor Nation’s host came after he was slammed for his response to season 25 Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s racism scandal in February 2021.
Rachael, the winner of Matt James’ season, faced backlash at the time when photos resurfaced of her at an Old South Antebellum-themed party at Georgia College in 2018. Before the pictures went viral, Rachael was already under controversy after her former high school classmate accused her on TikTok of bullying her and other students for dating Black men.
- Other TikTok users then exposed Rachael for liking social media photos of her friends in culturally insensitive costumes and with Confederate flags.
- Chris came under controversy after he was interviewed about the scandal by season 13 Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay on Extra,
- During the interview, Chris asked fans to give Rachael “grace” and explained that he didn’t find the Antebellum party photos offensive because they just looked like pictures a college student takes at a party.
Harrison also questioned whether the photos would be considered racially insensitive in 2018 when they were taken. After the interview, many fans slammed Harrison and accused him of excusing Rachael’s behavior. ABC confirmed in March 2021 that Chris wouldn’t host season 17 of The Bachelorette and would be replaced by Tayshia and Kaitlyn.
Chris Harrison will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette,” ABC said in a statement at the time. “We support Chris in the work that he is committed to doing. In his absence, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will support the new Bachelorette through next season. As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion within The Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including among the executive producer ranks.
These are important steps in effecting fundamental change so that our franchise is a celebration of love that is reflective of our world.” He officially retired as the Bachelor Nation’s host in June 2021. Image: ABC. Who is the Bachelor in Paradise bartender? The Bachelor in Paradise season 8 bartender is Wells Adams, who was a contestant on The Bachelorette season 12 with JoJo Fletcher and Bachelor in Paradise season 3. Wells has been the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise since season 4.
Wells was also a guest host for Bachelor in Paradise in season 7 after ABC fired Chris Harrison as the host of the Bachelor franchise following his controversial comments about The Bachelor season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s racism scandal in February 2021. Bachelor in Paradise season 7 featured several celebrity guest hosts including David Spade, Lance Bass, Lil Jon and Tituss Burgess.
“I’m not really qualified to be a bartender, and like, I’m okay at that and I’m not qualified to give people advice, I’m not a therapist, but I was a radio host for 15 years, so it was the only thing I was qualified to go do,” Wells told ABC 7 Chicago in 2021.
- He continued, “If I’m being honest, I was kind of that the entire season.
- Let’s be fair, these big shot Hollywood-types would come in with their A/C trailers and say a couple of things and then I’d be up at 4:30 in the morning hosting the rose ceremony.
- I was glad I finally got my shot in there!” In August 2022, Wells married actress Sarah Hyland after five years of dating.
They got engaged in July 2019 and were set to marry on August 8, 2020, but had to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2019, Sarah revealed that she met Wells on Twitter. “Have you seen those memes of ‘Slide into the DMs?’ That.
He slid into my DMs,” Sarah said. “I was following him. We had tweeted each other because I thought he was funny and he was a fan of the show. I saw him as the bartender and I was like, ‘That’s really cute.'” She continued, “I was single, obviously, and was like, ‘This is really awesome. You’re being very forward and it’s sexy and not aggressive but very confident and sexy,’ and I liked that.” After some messages back and forth, Wells asked Sarah on a date.
“‘Next time I’m in LA, I’m taking you out for drinks and tacos.'” he messaged. Sarah continued, “I love tacos. He loves tacos so that was his thing. Like, ‘I love tacos, let’s see if she loves tacos.’ We both love tacos! We have an obsession with tacos.
- Tacos and tequila, that’s our thing.” In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2020, Sarah revealed when she knew Wells was The One.
- Sarah explained that, a few days after she and Wells had the first real date at an Emmys party in 2017, she underwent her second kidney transplant.
- Wells flew from Nashville to Los Angeles to see Sarah on the weekends of her recovery process, where he also met her parents.
A month into their relationship, they told each other they were falling in love. “I asked him when he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend,” she said. “I’m impatient.” She continued, “We were talking about what kinds of weddings we wanted four days after we made things official. - In regards to the Bachelor, obviously we’re about three weeks away from any announcement being made, I’m assuming it’s going to be made on the After the Final Rose, if not, within a day or two of that on GMA like they usually do.
But after poking around a little bit, asking around, what I can tell you is: I don’t know who the Bachelor’s going to be, but you can cross Nate off the list. I have heard it is not him,” Reality Steve said. “I usually can’t get any details to stuff like that.
I have heard, I have no idea if it’s true or not, but I have heard he rejected it, he doesn’t want to do it.” A source also told E! News in August 2022 that Nate was the frontrunner to become the next Bachelor. The reports also came after Nate was photographed holding hands with a woman at a grocery store in Chicago, Illinois, in August 2022, weeks after he cried over his breakup with Gabby on The Bachelorette season 19 “Men Tell All” special.
“Spotted Nate and another girl in Chicago today,” an anonymous source sent to the Instagram account @bachelorettewindmill along with a photo, “They were both holding hands so could be dating?” WARNING: SPOILER, Other season 19 Bachelorette contestants not in the running to be the Bachelor 2023 were: Tyler Norris (who ended up with season 25 Bachelor contestant Brittany Galvin on Bachelor in Paradise season 8) and Johnny DePhilippo (who got engaged to season 24 Bachelor contestant Victoria Fuller on Bachelor in Paradise season 8).

I don’t see it being Logan. I don’t see it being Ethan. I don’t see it being Spencer. I don’t see it being Jason,” Reality Steve said. Other Bachelor Nation alums who weren’t in the running to be the next Bachelor were The Bachelorette season 17 contestant Michael Allio (who ended up with season 21 Bachelor contestant Danielle Maltby on Bachelor in Paradise season 8) and The Bachelorette season 18 contestant Brandon Jones (who ended up with season 26 Bachelor contestant Serene Russell on Bachelor in Paradise season 8.) While Nate wasn’t the Bachelor 2023, Gabby told Entertainment Tonight in August 2022 that he was her number-one choice as the next lead.
“Nate.100 percent Nate, Nate, Nate!” she said. “He knows how to treat women. He’s so smart, he’s old, he has a great job, he spends his time reading—not reading social media, reading actual books. He has a daughter, so he knows what it’s like to have responsibility.
He’s a real, true definition of a man.” Rachel told Entertainment Tonight that her choices for the next Bachelor were Nate and Tyler. “From Gabby’s side I would say Nate, incredible, and from my side, maybe Tyler. Who knows?” Rachel said. “They really couldn’t go wrong.” Mario Vassall, another contestant from The Bachelorette season 19, agreed with Rachel’s picks.
“Nate, his name comes to mind Nate is a fun, standup guy,” he said. ” I’m a big fan of Tyler Norris. We saw his breakup with Rachel. That was tough to watch. big fan of him, his character. He wears his heart of his sleeve. I wouldn’t be mad if he took that position.” Mario also confirmed that he was open to becoming the next Bachelor in an interview with E! News,
I would say that I am open to the conversation,” he said.”Ad we’d go from there.” Tyler, for his part, confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that he wasn’t interested in becoming the season 27 Bachelor but would root for Nate if he became the next lead. “I couldn’t even imagine dating two women at the same time, let alone 30-something women, but then again, you can’t take anything out of the card,” he said.
“My man, Nate, he’s the sweetest, most genuine guy. I would love to see him. He brings flair too My man would do a great job.” Tyler also told E! News about his concerns over becoming the next Bachelor. “I would definitely say that it’s very hard to navigate,” Tyler said.
- With 30-something women there, it would definitely be a tough job to have, without hurting somebody at the end of the day.
- If it gets me a stop closer to ultimately finding love then absolutely I would do it.” Host Jesse Palmer also voted for Nate.
- Nate is a standup guy.
- He’s an amazing person.
- He’s mature, he has an incredible emotional maturity, he’s vulnerable, he respects women, and he’s a great dad,” Jesse said.
“I there’s there’s very few negative things I can say about Nate.” Jesse also had another choice for the next lead. “Are we still saying Pete Davidson? Is that still a choice?” Jesse said. ” I wanna ride that train. Wanna talk about a wild Bachelor season? That would probably be it.
We might have to change some of our parameters.” Gabby and Rachel also voiced their support for two Bachelors like how there were two Bachelorettes on season 19. “We loved each other for it, and loved having one another by one another’s side,” Gabby said of her relationship with Rachel. “I don’t know if men would feel the same, it depends on their relationship, but I think there’s a lot of good to come out of our season.” Rachel added, “I think ultimately if the Bachelors supported each other and loved each other to the extent that Gabby and I do, it could be incredible as well, but they would definitely have to be on the same level as us.
Lots to live up to, of course!” Mario, however, was against the idea and told Entertainment Tonight that ABC should “absolutely not” have two Bachelors. Tyler also agreed with him. “I think watching back the two Bachelorette thing was a lot,” Tyler said. Image: Gallery Books.
How Did Ivan break the rules on Paradise?
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Recap: Ivan Hall Breaks Production Protocol, Called ‘Liar’ by Cast SPOILER ALERT: Do not read if you have not watched the Sept.28 episode of “.” Ivan Hall had a rough time in Paradise. He first pursued Jessenia Cruz, before she left him for another contestant.
His relationship with Kendall Long was short-lived after she exited not over her ex. And as the rose ceremony approached, he had no prospects to stay on the beach. However, an unexpected romance brewed between him and Chelsea Vaughn, who had been tied to Aaron Clancy. Ivan and Chelsea made out, which angered Aaron and led to a confrontation between the men.
The two got in each other’s faces, and the whole beach chimed in on who was in the wrong. Aaron accused Ivan of being deceptive, as flashbacks showed Ivan say he wasn’t going to steal anyone in anticipation of the rose ceremony. Ivan justified his actions and claimed he hadn’t lied, but rather, Chelsea pursued him.
- The group ganged up on Aaron in response, who was defeated and left the conversation.
- Chelsea was absent for the conflict, but upon her return, she set the record straight: Ivan pulled her, and he lied to the group.
- Trouble didn’t end for Ivan there.
- As the group prepared for eliminations, guest host and bartender Wells Adams halted the rose ceremony and pulled Ivan aside.
He revealed that when sheltering from the tropical storm the night before, Ivan had broken production protocol. Despite being sequestered in his hotel room, he left and found Alexa Caves from Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor.” She was supposed to arrive on the beach later that week.
- He admitted to finding her room number on a producer’s phone, and the two spent the night together on her balcony.
- He blamed his headspace for the impulse decision and apologized for breaking the rules.
- Wells suggested that he come clean to everyone.
- Ivan confessed to the rest of the cast — and directly to Chelsea — before he left the beach for good.
The rose ceremony resumed. Serena Pitt gives her rose to Joe Amabile, Abigail Heringer followed and gave hers to Noah Erb, Maurissa Gunn to Riley Christian, Mari Pepin-Solis to Kenny Braasch, Becca Kufrin to Thomas Jacobs, Chelsea and Aaron, and Natasha Parker and Ed Waisbrot.
- Tia Booth settled her love triangle, and gave her rose to James Bonsall over Blake Monar, sending Blake, Demar Jackson and Dr.
- Joe Park all home.
- The next day, Wells reminded the cast of the limited time remaining and urged them all to seriously consider their relationship statuses.
- His reminder sparked conversations with several of the couples.
Kenny and Mari reevaluated their relationship, and Kenny worried they needed to “pump the breaks” while Mari was prepared to move forward. Maurissa was worried her strong feelings for Riley weren’t totally reciprocated, and Natasha knew that she and Ed had to catch up to the others.
- In addition, Abigail expressed concern that she and Noah weren’t as locked in as the other pairs.
- While the established couples reevaluated, newcomers arrived.
- Anna Redman from Matt James’ season arrived with a date card in hand and struggled to find a man who was not already in a committed relationship.
After failing with Kenny and Thomas, she spoke with James, who accepted her invitation. The two spent the afternoon together on a date becoming human churros and getting snake massages before they officially coupled up. A second newcomer arrived on the beach – Mykenna Dorn from Peter’s season of “The Bachelor.” She briefly appeared earlier on the season during the VIP party, where she was introduced to several contestants.
Like Anna, she struggled to find an available man. Aaron was open to chatting with her but declined her invitation on a date. The rejection brought Mykenna to tears, as she felt like an outcast as the newcomer. The cast watched her upset, and Ed attempted to comfort her. He encouraged her to stay and asked if he could accompany her on the date.
After an initial decline, she accepted his invite and the two left hand-in-hand. While the cast was supportive of his actions, Natasha faced another rejection. But Ed was committed to cheering Mykenna up, and the two spent the night rollerblading around the resort before they ended with a dinner and a kiss.
- Meanwhile, several existing couples worked through their feelings.
- Mari and Kenny enlisted the help of an energy coach to realign them and it made them “stronger than ever.” On the flip side, Noah and Abigail struggled to stay on the same page.
- He admitted to falling in love with her, and she did not reciprocate.
Her silence was concerning for Noah, who felt that they couldn’t move forward if she wasn’t able to communicate. Relationships were in varying degrees of functionality, but everyone was invited to a “Paradise Prom” to mark the end of their time on the beach.
Several men orchestrated “prom-posals,” leaving Tia feeling sad and single. But the night of the dance, Aaron pulled Tia aside and offered her a corsage followed by a steamy make-out. Chelsea was blindsided by his interest in Tia, but she wasn’t the only one taken aback. Abigail was shocked when Noah pulled her and ended their relationship as well.
Only moments before, they had been named “Most Likely to Live Happily Ever After” during prom superlatives by their peers. Despite telling Abigail he was falling in love only a day earlier, he didn’t think they were going to work long-term and reiterated on several occasions that she wasn’t “his person.” Abigail was blindsided, as she was planning to share that she too was falling in love with Noah.
- She questioned his sudden change of heart and accused him of leading her on during their time together.
- Noah tried to rationalize his thoughts, but it only upset Abigail further before she stormed off to cry in the bathroom.
- The episode ended in her tears and left their relationship hanging for next week’s episode.

Who are the two actors in the Alexa commercial?
Scarlett Johansson, Colin Jost Team Up in Amazon Super Bowl Ad for Alexa Get ready for a taste of “Saturday Night Live” on Super Bowl Sunday. and, the “Avengers” star and “Weekend Update” anchor, famously got married after meeting at “SNL.” Now they are set to appear in their first project together: a Super Bowl commercial for ‘s Alexa.
- There’s something nice about the fact that there has never been anything with them together,” says Claudine Cheever, vice president of global brand and fixed marketing for Amazon, in an interview.
- It’s a mystery element: What are they like together?” In a 60-second ad slated to air early in the fourth quarter on NBC’s broadcast of Super Bowl LVI on February 13, Johansson and Jost wonder what things might be like if Amazon’s Alexa voice device could read minds.
The results are funny and cringeworthy in equal measure, and the actors “were very involved in the joke writing,” Cheever says. Advertisers like PepsiCo and Anheuser-Busch InBev get a lot of credit for their annual appearances in the Super Bowl, but Amazon has been a steady sponsor for the past six years, using the Big Game to tout everything from new series on its streaming-video service to its various home gadgets.
- In addition to the Alexa commercial, Amazon is planning to run a spot promoting its new control over the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football” as part of between the league and several media companies.
- For Amazon, getting its message out has long relied on using popular celebrities.
- In the past, the company has enlisted Cardi B, Rebel Wilson, Harrison Ford and Anthony Hopkins, among others.
The top criteria in deciding who to use? “Celebrities work well for us when they will poke fun at themselves, and are willing to have fun with themselves rather than just show up and be themselves,” says Cheever. “It’s something we are always thinking about when we are casting.” And it helps the company embrace some of the quirkiness inherent in Alexa, which sometimes responds to consumers in ways they never anticipated.
- Jost is just the who have taken up sidelines in the world of advertising.
- Ate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Pete Davidson and Chloe Fineman are just some of the “SNL” players who are increasingly turning up in ads for everything from Verizon to Smartwater.
- To draw attention to its latest Super Bowl effort for Alexa, Amazon intends to release teasers on social media featuring other self-effacing celebs, like RuPaul from the series “RuPaul’s Drag Race.
” And a 90-second teaser with Jost and Johansson has already started to make the rounds — the better to let people see a pile of jokes that was just too big to cram into the 60-second version of the ad. : Scarlett Johansson, Colin Jost Team Up in Amazon Super Bowl Ad for Alexa
