How To Listen To Podcasts On Alexa?

Play podcasts from the Alexa app. – You can also use the Alexa app to find and control podcasts.

  1. Open the Alexa App on your mobile device or at alexa.amazon.com,
  2. Within the main menu, select Music, Video, & Books,
  3. Under Music, choose TuneIn,
  4. Select Podcasts, You can also use TuneIn’s search bar at any time to find a particular podcast,
  5. Explore categories to discover a podcast of interest, then a specific episode.
  6. At the top of the app, select your desired speaker(s),
  7. Click the podcast cover to play.

Can I play podcasts through Alexa?

Disable Apple Podcasts in Alexa –

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa app, then tap the More tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Music & Podcasts.
  4. Tap Apple Podcasts.
  5. Tap Disable Skill.

Why can’t I listen to podcasts on my Alexa?

Set a Default Podcast Service – Now when you want to play a podcast, say “Alexa, play the latest episode of ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend’ from Apple Podcasts.” If you don’t want to state the name of the service when you request a podcast from Alexa, you can set a default podcast provider. To set the default, go to Settings > Music & Podcasts > Default Services, Then tap the Change link under the Podcasts section and select the service you want to use as the default; in this case, it’s Apple Podcasts. You can then merely say “Alexa, play the latest episode of ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend'” and the podcast will play through Apple Podcasts.
