Battery packs are 5v and the Dot requires 12v. In order to make it actually wireless you’re going to need to get a 5v USB to 12v 1.7mm barrel step up converter and the battery pack/USB outlet you use to power it needs to be at least 3a so majority of USB outlets won’t work with it.

If you want this Echo dot (4th gen), you can buy a compatible battery base. I bought GGMM D4 battery base as a great addition to my Echo dot.
